Gwens Flute - Guild Wars Forums

Hi
Sorry if this is very basic. I have been trying to find Gwens flute, but the arrow and/or star only indicate that it is where gwen is. I can't find anything over the river... any hints or advice?

Monks don't need to find her the flute.

The arrow doesn't point to it, but it's normally on the opposite side of the riverbank from the first entrance to the river as you begin to head up the road.. hope that's clear.

It 'sparkles' on the ground like any other drop. If you hold down ALT you should see it over there somewhere

I think you can buy a new flute for her.

The game book actually recommends you buying her a new flute. She gives you something back in return.

I'd strongly recommending that you spend that 4 gold to get her a new flute

It's well worth it IMO. Don't rely on her helping you always, but it does seem to come at times when you need it most

That's only if you let her follow you when you go outside of Ascalon. As she's following, pick up the Red Iris Flowers and give them to her also. After she gives you something in return for the flowers. After that hold on the the flowers, the merchant must have a crush because he will buy the flowers for 5 gold each!
